2010 Chevy Impala - Powertrains and Performance
The 2010 Chevy Impala is provided with your choice of two different powertrains. LS and LT designs come prepared with a 3.5-liter V6 which makes 211 horse power and 216 pound-feet of twisting. A 3.9-liter V6 that places out 230 hp and 235 lb-ft is conventional on top-of-the-line LTZ editions only. Both engine are mated to a four-speed automated gearbox that pushes the top part tires and both engine come back decent EPA gas mileage reports. The 3.5-liter V6 is ranked at 18 mpg city/29 mpg road and 22 mpg mixed, while the 3.9-liter engine figures fall to 17 city/27 road and 21 mpg mixed.
